For people driving from Los Angeles or Orange County in California to San Diego on the I-15 Freeway, a good place to stop is at Tom's Farms in Temescal Valley. They are located at 23900 Temescal Valley Road.

Tom's Farms started as a 3500 foot produce stand in 1971. They sold fresh fruits and vegetables. They added the Old Fashioned Hamburger Stand in 1974.

Now Tom's Farms has become a destination for families seeking produce, food, and fun. They have several shops including a Farmer's Market, Candy Shoppe, Furniture Store, and a Wine and Cheese Store. There is a Craft Fair once a week.

The restaurants serve Old Fashioned Hamburgers and Pizza among other items.

The weekends are fun for families as they have an Amusement Park with Pony Rides, a Petting Zoo, a Magic Show, and Live Music (weather permitting).

Most of the facilities and restaurants at Tom's Farms are open from 8 AM until 6 or 8 PM.
