Fans were disappointed when Ed Sheeran had to cancel his show in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was scheduled for Saturday night, September 9, 2023, at the Allegiant Stadium.

Less than two hours before the performance was to begin, Sheeran shared the news that he had to cancel the show. He was distressed over the decision.

Ed Sheeran is a popular 32 year old British singer and songwriter. He is a guitarist who plays a blend of acoustic pop, folk, and hip hop music. He has been active in the music scene since 2005.

The new date for the show is set to be on October 28. All tickets for Saturday's show will be honored at that performance.

It was a blow to the fans who were already there and waiting for the show to begin. Sheeran wrote on social media about how sorry he was to have to cancel the performance. He realized that many people had traveled to get there for the show.

There were apparently some issues which required him to make the change at the last minute. It was not something he wanted to do.

The Allegiant Stadium is a large facility which is home to the Las Vegas Raiders NFL Team so there must have been thousands of people waiting with tickets for the concert. Allegiant opened its doors to let fans get out of the heat outside. They did what they could to assist anyone who needed it.

Tickets are on sale now for the October 28 show and may be expected to sell out.
