A very popular local attraction for fun and recreation in Salt Lake County is the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. They often hold various special events as well as being open for regular aquarium visits. There is more to see than just the creatures from the sea.
The aquarium is an impressive facility both indoor and out. They also make the aquarium available for reserved parties for large or small groups.
Coming up soon during the month of June are these events:
Nights Under Lights: Glow with the Flow. This event is on June 10 at 7:00 PM. It is recommended to bring a blanket or camping chair to enjoy the show. Gazebos may be rented to be assured of premium seating.
Yoga with the Sharks. This event will be on June 12 at 6:30 PM. It is a yoga experience for all skill levels. Participants should bring their own exercise mats.
Nature Storytime. This event will be on June 13 with sign in at 9:00 AM. This is for toddlers (2 to 4 years) and their parents. It will run around one hour.
The Living Planet Aquarium is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to inspiring people to explore, discover and learn about Earth’s diverse ecosystems.
They are located in Draper, Utah, at 12033 Lone Peak Parkway. Their facilities may be seen from the I-15 Freeway.
