Ballet Showcase at Brigham Young University Has Scheduled Their Semester Shows

Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, has an excellent dance program featuring all types of popular dances. Ballet is one of the top programs. Ballet Showcase will be putting on ballet shows on Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 7:30 PM with a Saturday matinee at 2:00 PM on April 8.

The performances will be held at the Dance Performance Theater in the Richards Building on the BYU campus. Tickets are on sale now.

Ballet Showcase will be featuring classical repertoire and contemporary ballet works by members of the faculty and students of the Ballet Showcase Company and Theatre Ballet. The dances will be performed by the top ballet dancers at BYU. Mentored student choreography, faculty works, and excerpts from Don Quixote Act II will highlight the performances.

BYU offers many excellent programs for recreational and entertainment purposes. Besides the athletic events which are regularly held, the Fine Arts Department provides opportunities for the whole family to partake of professional type activities of all types for reasonable prices.

It is a good idea to take advantage of these events to watch young people perform. The thousands of university students who share their talents work very hard to put on shows of many varieties in music and the arts. They deserve to have good audiences who enjoy taking part in outstanding entertainment.

University and high school students throughout the state provide quality events for the public to enjoy in all areas. The shows by Ballet Showcase and Theatre Ballet at BYU in April promise to be excellent.
