Theatre Ballet is BYU's top ballet touring company. Students audition to gain spots in Theatre Ballet and also in Ballet Showcase. They are able to regularly perform in traditional full-length classical ballets as well as other contemporary works. In addition to Swan Lake, Theatre Ballet has performed Romeo and Juliet/Westside Story, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.
Students are given the opportunity to grow and develop technically and artistically as they participate in the various ballet programs at BYU, especially in BYU Theatre Ballet. They also are able to travel with the ballet company.
BYU has an outstanding dance program in various areas of dance, in addition to ballet. They regularly have excellent shows which are presented to showcase talents of the students and to provide wholesome entertainment for the public.
