Beautiful leaves are still on the trees in Utah
Although the Winter weather has arrived in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah, there are still plenty of Autumn leaves to enjoy. The colors of yellow, orange, red, and brown are evident on the trees. Many leaves have fallen with the wind and weather, and people are having to rake up huge bags of the leaves for discarding or pick up. It makes work for people, but most willingly do it.
The clear blue sky above the leaves makes for beautiful scenes of nature that are available for all to enjoy. Looking out the window or going outside in the yard may be all that is required to enjoy the beauty of this world. The clear, brisk air of Autumn and Winter makes it sweater weather.
Taking a ride up to the canyons and mountains provides opportunities to enjoy majestic leaves as they have changed colors with the seasons, but there is much to appreciate right in our own neighborhoods.
The COVID pandemic which raged throughout the world for over two years caused many changes to life. Many people were forced to stay home and avoid crowds. Normal activities were curtailed, and life was brought to a standstill in many respects. Now that the COVID restrictions have largely been lifted, it is once again possible to enjoy nature to the fullest. Autumn leaves can be part of that enjoyment.
The weather may be cold for sitting outside, but merely looking out the window can provide pleasure and peace. This is a beautiful world.
