It is one of many in the resort town
Bangkok Thai was the first Thai restaurant that opened in Park City, Utah. That was in 1994. It is located in the Park Hotel on historic Main Street in the resort town. It is considered as a fine dining Thai restaurant which has been serving locals and visitors for many years. They offer authentic Thai cuisine in Park City.
They are open Mondays through Sundays for lunch from 12 PM to 3:30 PM and for dinner from 5 to 9 PM.
After 25 years of service, the restaurant was purchased by new owners. The new General Manager is Mark McMahon with Chef Wichayanee (Yanee) Chayangkura, a Bangkok Thai native.
Their website states:
Chef Yanee, a native of Bangkok, is highly renowned for her culinary genius. She is a favorite chef of the Royal Thai Embassy and is often called on to cook for dignitaries during their visits to the U.S. Updating some menu favorites and adding her own flair and creativity inspired by family recipes, Chef Yanee uses ingredients that can only be found at Salt Lake City’s finest Asian markets. Her seasonally-inspired menus offer a tasty balance between traditional and modern Thai offerings.
We have been able to fulfill our vision of warm hospitality coupled with authentic Thai cuisine prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
