Full of energy and vitality, the Brigham Young University (BYU) Ballroom Dance Company performed in Salt Lake City at the Conference Center Theater of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 19, 2022. They regularly do shows at BYU in Provo, and they tour around the world.
The crowd cheered and clapped at the theatrics, talents, and spectacular dancing show which entertained and delighted them. The Ballroom Dance Company is comprised of students who put on an amazing show from start to finish.
The BYU Ballroom Dance Company has received national and international acclaim. Their new show is Come Alive. It has innovative choreography as well as the traditional waltz long associated with ballroom dancing. They put on a family friendly show with a lot of feeling.
As the current United States Formation Champions in Ballroom and Latin Dance, the BYU Ballroom Dance Company frequently wins the British Formation Championships. The Ballroom Dance Company started at BYU in 1970. The group has since performed in over thirty-five countries.
