The Brigham Young University (BYU) Winterfest 2022 is planned to be held in Salt Lake City during February and March at selected dates at the Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Talented performers who dance and sing as well as play musical instruments will be presenting outstanding programs for the enjoyment of the public.

Although the Theatre Ballet, which is the top ballet group at Brigham Young University, had been scheduled to perform in Salt Lake City, it was necessary to cancel that performance.

The Theatre Ballet will be performing at BYU in Provo this weekend.

The following performances are scheduled as had been planned, according to the website.

Winterfest is BYU’s winter performance series featuring world-famous touring ensembles.
International Folk Dance Ensemble, February 12, 2 PM and 7 PM (International Folk Dancers have beautiful ethnic costumes and props as they perform dances from more than a dozen countries.)
Ballroom Dance Company, February 19, 7 PM (The BYU Ballroom Dance Company is a unique dance ensemble recognized nationally and internationally.)
Contemporary Dance Theatre, February 25, 7 PM (Contemporary Dance Theatre dances with a balance of lighthearted performances and moving choreography.)
Noteworthy. February 26, 2 PM and 7 PM (Noteworthy is a top a cappella ensemble which is comprised of nine female vocalists who do pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and spiritual genres.)
Chamber Orchestra, March 4, 7 PM ( BYU’s Chamber Orchestra will play great classical works for small orchestra as well as lighter compositions.)
Young Ambassadors, March 5, 2 PM and 7 PM (Young Ambassadors are a song and dance group which are energetic and entertaining.)
Vocal Point. March 11, 7 PM, March 12, 2 PM and 7PM (Vocal Point is a renowned nine-man a cappella group which uses harmony, humor, and vocal percussion as they do rock, pop, country, jazz, hymns, and R&B.)

For anyone looking for excellent entertainment, check out the BYU performers. For those who may have planned to see the Theatre Ballet in Salt Lake City, it may still be possible to see them perform at BYU from February 12 to 14, 2022.
