This past Saturday, twenty-seven of the best remodelers in the State of Alabama gathered in Montgomery, Alabama to recognize the craftsmanship and creative work of their peers at the Annual Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards. Blake Corder, president of the 2021 Home Builders Association of Alabama Remodelers, kicked off the presentation that included a glimpse of the hottest styles appearing in Alabama homes across the state.

What’s new in home renovation and design? DRAMA! This year’s winners showcased their creativity in home design with the use of bold colors, rich materials, and useful takes on home storage. Steel frame windows, apothecary cabinets, dark countertops, hand-painted tiles, kelly green paint, dog washing bays, and even a giant gun room were featured in these interesting, gorgeous Alabama homes.
