H.S.H. Princess Charlene, who is considered to be one of the saddest princesses of these last years (source: Amica. it), finally returned home, earlier in March this year.

Her Royal Highness still cannot attend any event, as doctors only gave her permission to continue treatment at home. She must stay away from fatigue of any kind. (source:

She was not able, for instance, to show up at Prince Philip’s memorial service in London, even as her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco, attended, according to Hello magazine.

The news was confirmed in a statement released by the Palace.

Thanks to the "encouraging recovery" and with her doctors' permission she has been able to return to the Principality. It is expected that her state of health will improve in the next weeks and that Charlene will be "able to return gradually to Her official duties and commitments. (source: Hello Magazine)

According to the Italian press, Princess Charlene is again recovering outside of Monaco, in the beautiful Roc Agel estate, in France, the Grimaldis' residence on the heights of the Côte d'Azur.

A beautiful place away from the spotlight, that was a favorite residence to Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III.

According to Vogue Italy, the house has all comforts, the intact charm of a colonial house, and the flavor of a luxury farm.

Mont Agel is the site of the Monte Carlo Golf Club, formerly home of the Monte Carlo Open. (Wikipedia)

Roc Agel is a historic residence that could make everyone dream. It had been bought by Rainier III in 1957, shortly after his marriage to Grace Kelly, as a gift for the Princess pregnant with her second child, Albert.

It was a refuge of love and relaxation for the Royal family. Few people were received like for instance Cary Grant, a close friend of Princess Grace. (source: Vogue Italy)

Let us also not forget that, on September 13, 1982, Grace Kelly suffered a small stroke that caused an accident while driving back to Monaco from that country home in Roc Agel.

That unhappy incident caused her death. (source: Wikipedia)

Let us wish for better times and a serene recovery for H.S.H. Princess Charlene Wittstock, away from the spotlight and events.
