The famous, unstoppable, and evergreen Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain has just had her greatest celebration, so far. She has just topped Britain's sovereigns, also earning a true record: she, Elizabeth II, has the longest reign in the country's history.

The Queen was present for a rare meeting with the public and the press, after her not feeling so well last October, at the Sandringham Palace. (source: ansa. it)

Her Majesty also joked about cutting the festive cake in front of representatives of the local Sandringham community, with volunteer groups, retirees, and some members of the local Women's Institute (Wi). (source: ansa. it)

The 95-year-old monarch's Platinum Jubilee begins on February 6, 1952, when she became Britain's sovereign, after the death of her father, King George VI, being the only queen or king in the country's long history to have ruled for 70 years. (source: USA Today news)

"Members of the Honourable Artillery Company have fired a gun salute in front of Tower Bridge in London on Feb. 7, 2022, to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne. Pomp, pageantry, and puddings are also part of the celebration." (source: USA Today news)

On one of Her Majesty's official Instagram profiles, we can see splendid pictures of today's 95 -years old Monarch, in great shape, in front of "one of her famous red boxes.

"The Queen's devotion to the welfare of all her people inspires still greater admiration with each passing year" - we can read on an Instagram message from The Prince of Wales on the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s Accession.

"Over the past 70 years, The Queen has received daily papers from her Private Secretaries, in person or via a red despatch box. The boxes hold documents updating Her Majesty on events in Parliament as well as overseas and Commonwealth matters, and State papers requiring her signature and Royal assent.
