Having These Old Mobile Phones Could Get You a Fortune

The nostalgics out there, who have preserved with care their old cell phones over the years, even for practical issues (better a functional old device, rather than a too-complicated-to-use new one) might hold now a true treasure in their hands, says LaPress.it.

What we can do today with our new Android devices is a lot more complex, and seems a utopia compared to a few decades ago.

The nostalgic people that like to preserve their older cell phones might have a lot to win today.

For instance, the Orbitel Citi phone. Launched on the British market in 1985, it's one of the first mobile phones launched on the market. In good conditions, one of these might be worth today between 700 and 1200 euros (convert that in dollars). The reason is simple: you almost cannot find one of these anymore.

Another one with significant value is Ericsson T10. Launched in 1998, it was one of the first models of mobile phones equipped with a small door to close the alphanumeric keyboard. Used and in good shape, you could sell it for 100-300 euros. But if it's still in his original box and was never used, you might be able to sell it for 1500 -2000 euros!

The Nokia Sapphire 8800 Arte was a famous one at his time. Its value didn't decrease with time, and you can sell one today, in its original box and without being used, at a price between 600 -2500 euros. It already had a camera and Bluetooth.

Another "historical" model is Apple's iPhone 2G, the first smartphone model placed on the market by the American Apple Company in 2007. If already used, today you could sell it for 300 euros, but in its original box, it could be worth about 2000 euros.

The Motorola StarTAC from 1996, in its variant called Rainbow, if it was never used, could be worth 500 euros.
