Spring Break in Dunedin, Florida is just around the corner! If you're looking to make plans for your kids while they're off from school, then look no further! With travel restrictions in place this year, more families are choosing to stay local. Fortunately, Dunedin has more than enough going on to keep the kids busy.
Here's a look at just a few things for kids to do over Spring Break in Dunedin:
1. Drive-In Movie Night: Little Giants
Enjoy a socially distanced showing of the classic kid's movie Little Giants starring Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neill. The lot will be limited to 50 cars and all tickets must be purchased in advance at the Dunedin Community Center located at 1920 Pinehurst Road. Attendees can enjoy music and raffles before the movie and can bring their own food and drinks.

2. Take & Go Activity Bags
If your family is looking for a creative activity during Spring Break, you can pick up "Take & Go Activity Bags" from the MLK, Jr. Recreation Center. Each bag comes with activities, games, and crafts for up to four kids. Ideal for kids between the ages of 5 and 10, the items all follow a theme. March's theme is "Coastal Cleanup" while April's is "Minute To Win It." The bags are available on the first of every month on a first-come-first-serve basis.

3. Stirling Skate Park
Stirling Skate Park is perfect for active kids looking to learn or perfect their skills on wheels. At over 10,000 square feet, the park attracts skateboarders, cyclists, and more. They host Teen Nights, specific hours for beginners, scooter nights, and more. You can see their calendar for March here.

4. Outdoor Archery Classes
Are your children looking to learn something new? They may want to give outdoor archery a try! A new activity offered by Dunedin Parks & Recreation, classes are designed for kids ages 7 to 10. They'll learn some basic archery skills that will ensure they have fun and allow them to pursue the sport in the future if they choose to.

5. Multiplayer Gaming Nights
Turn your kid's video game habit into a social activity by getting them involved in "Multiplayer Gaming Nights" at Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center. On several Friday nights a month, they hold multiplayer gaming tournaments for kids between the ages of 9 and 14. Not only are there snacks, but tournament winners also receive prizes!

6. Spring Fling Camp
If you'll be working during Spring Break this year, Spring Fling Camp is an option for kids too young to stay home alone. Designed for Pre-K through 5th graders, campers will enjoy a week full of games, crafts, and outdoor activities. At camp, not only will your kids have a schedule jam-packed with fun but they'll end the week with new vital skills and budding friendships!
