A Florida witness at Miami reported watching and photographing a cigar-shaped object hovering nearby at 8:04 a.m. on February 14, 2023, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

The sky was blue and clear as the witness drove onto campus from SW 107th Ave. and SW 18th Street.

“I spotted this object to the left of me (southwest from the campus) at somewhat of a distance that seemed to be what I presumed to be over the main road Coral Way (SW 24th Street),” the reporting witness stated.

The witness reported that it was hard to gauge exactly what area the object was over.

“This object was not moving like an airplane or helicopter as they typically do. It seemed to be hovering and moving slowly.”

The witness then took out a phone and snapped two images of the object at a stop sign on one of the roads within the university before it went out of sight.

The report included four images, filed on February 14, 2023, and posted for public viewing on March 6, 2023. Witness quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to NUFORC or to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be resolved as something natural or man-made. These raw reports are for information only as investigators review the facts and attempt to resolve the case.

There is some resemblance to the shape of the object and a blimp. An investigator would be trying to match shapes as a blimp could appear to be hovering for a period of time in one spot.
