Looking Back On 2022

An Idaho witness at Nampa reported watching three round, silver-colored objects in a triangle formation at 8:23 a.m. on April 3, 2022, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

The report states that the witness was driving northeast over an overpass when the objects were first seen.

“I looked up slightly to my right, and no more than a mile or two away in the sky, there were three roundish, silver objects,” the reporting witness stated. “The sun hit them just right where they shined. They were in a triangular shape but not connected, and then suddenly they were just gone.”

The report details that the witness kept an eye on the sky for the entire rest of the drive and never saw the objects again.

An Idaho witness at Mountain Home recalled an encounter with multiple oval-shaped objects at 9 p.m. on July 10, 1983, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

The report states that the witness was driving back to Pasco from Jerome.

“As I was entering the area of Mountain Home, I saw six or seven lights pop onto my left in the distance,” the reporting witness stated. “The lights seemed to be some kind of stadium flood lights, but to my surprise, they started moving towards my car.”

The report details that the lights started blinking on and off at different intervals during the approach. After blinking on and off six or seven times, one light came right up in front of the witness’s car traveling down the freeway.

“The light, which was maybe four or five feet above me, made no noise as I rolled down my window to see if it was a plane or helicopter. All I could see was a brilliant white light flying around my car like it was checking me out.”

Report details include the description that the witness was “shocked” at how fast the object moved “down the freeway and stopped in the blink of an eye.”

The witness pulled over to the side of the freeway about “25 yards away from it,” thinking it better not to drive underneath it.

“This light was about a telephone pole high above the freeway and was motionless and dead silent.”

The witness began shielding their eyes from the brilliant light “which was kind of oval-shaped and 30 feet long and 15 feet from top to bottom.”

The witness got out of the car “for what seemed to be several minutes.” By this time it was dark, “but this light lit up a huge area around me.”

The report details that the lights stayed with the witness “all the way to Boise.” The witness told a brother about the incident and was asked what the time of the arrival at Boise was.

“I told him it was straight up 1 a.m. He then asked me why it took so long to travel about 40 miles in four hours. I told him I had no idea and didn't even think about it until he mentioned the paradox.”

Other report details include the witness reporting “feelings of itchiness” in some body areas.

The report included no images, filed on October 25, 2005. Mountain Home Witness is a city in and the county seat of Elmore County, ID, population 15,979. Witness quotes were edited for clarity.
