Looking Back on 2022
A California witness at Pasadena reported watching and photographing a flying object that looked like four, linked blocks, hovering above at 12:08 a.m. on February 6, 2022, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
Just after midnight, the witness noticed a “flying craft” that looked like four linked blocks hovering over Pasadena.
“It was pulsing yellow light, moved a short distance west, hovered again, and then traversed west,” the reporting witness stated. “It was utterly silent.”
The witness immediately ran inside to grab an iPhone 8 and shot some photos.
An investigator would be matching the images against the Starlink satellite to see if there is a match.
The report included four images, filed on February 7, 2022. Pasadena is a city in Los Angeles County, CA, population 138,699. Witness quotes were edited for clarity. Please report UFO activity to NUFORC or to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

Historic California
A California witness at San Francisco recalled an encounter with a hovering, football-shaped object at 12:15 p.m. on June 15, 1956, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
The witness was working at Bethlehem Steel shipyard at 20th Street off Third Street in San Francisco and was at lunchtime. It was a clear cloudless day. The incident date is approximate.
“I happened to lean back and look straight up and saw the object from directly below,” the reporting witness stated. “It was silver, metallic, maybe a little thinner than a football and the ends were sharp points.”
The witness said the object’s lines were not fuzzy but well-defined and sharp. The object was so high, that the witness felt that if you took your eyes off it for a second, you might not be able to find it again.
“Three other people with me did not see it, but I could understand why. The object was moving from west to east. There was no sound. It became too small to see at about 45 to 35 degrees to the horizon.”
The report included no images, filed on April 15, 2000. Witness quotes were edited for clarity.
