A California witness at Napa reported watching a silent, triangle-shaped object flying low with white lights at the three corners at 11:45 p.m. on November 29, 2022, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
The witness and his wife were traveling back from a dinner in Palo Alto to Napa along the CA29 when the object was first seen.
“We noticed three white lights in a triangular shape,” the reporting witness stated. “The craft followed the road in the same direction as our travel and then veered off to the left. We did not hear any noise from the object and it quickly disappeared after turning left.”
The witness said that they were near an airport and the lighting, shape, and size of the object are what captured their attention.
“The lights were at the corners of the craft, were white, and we could see no port or starboard lighting of red or green. The craft was dark colored.”
The wife was able to take two pictures with her iPhone from the car.
“They are not great, but the lights and triangular shape can be seen.”
The witness is a former naval officer and both are business professionals. The report contained no images, filed on November 29, 2022. Witness quotes were edited for clarity. Historic California
A California witness at Mount Shasta recalled an encounter with a silent, hovering, cigar-shaped object at 2 p.m. on June 30, 1955, according to testimony from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
The witness was five or six years old at the time and was returning to McCloud from Mount Shasta along Highway 89 at the I-5 interchange. Mom pulled over at the entrance to a drive-in movie theater as they saw other cars stopped and people outside of them looking up into the sky. The date is approximate.
“I remember my mother being awed and all the others who were watching,” the reporting witness stated. “This cigar-shaped, metallic, windowless, soundless, unlighted object was hanging, slightly tilted, in the clear blue afternoon sky.”
The witness recalls the time frame because of a recollection that the sun was behind them as they looked up at it.
“I was not overly impressed at that age but I could tell the adults were.”
The witness and Dad always watched the space shots and they heard on the news that it was some type of satellite or rocket part falling from the sky.
“But it never fell or moved at all. I remember, even as a small child, I knew this was not true and wondered why this explanation was given”
Eventually, they stopped watching and drove home. The witness estimates that their event duration was 30 minutes.
The report contained no images, filed on July 21, 1998. Mount Shasta is a city in Siskiyou County, CA, population 3,223. Witness quotes were edited for clarity.
