Mango sticky rice is a heavenly dish with the goodness of health. It has all the flavors, and anyone can enjoy it. Here is the recipe, and you can try it yourself this weekend.
Sweet rice (sticky rice)
1 1/2 c. of water
Half can coconut milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp coconut sugar
Two ripe mangos, peeled and sliced
Coconut Sweet Sauce Ingredients
1/2 can of 14 oz. coconut milk
3 Tbsp. coconut sugar
Rinse the rice three-four times with water until the water is no longer milky.
Take a medium pot and soak the rice for 60 minutes. Add coconut milk, water, salt, and coconut sugar. Cover with a lid and boil it on a gentle flame for 30 minutes until the coconut milk absorbs in the rice.
Combine the coconut sugar and coconut milk in a pan over medium heat. Stir it until sugar dissolves.
Place the mangoes on a plate and top it with sticky rice and pour the coconut sauce. Serve and Enjoy.
