The Guard and Grace got its name from the owner's daughter, and it has a big take on a fancy and modern steakhouse. The Guard and Grill have fiery grills and charcuterie, oyster bar and bar tops, private rooms, and a posh, walk-in, floor-to-high-ceiling glass wine cellar with more of a bright, airy playfulness than the usual dark, stiff, mano a mano atmosphere.
The restaurant opened in 2014 in a spectacular 9000 square foot space. The Guard and Grace use certified Angus and local grass-fed and Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 22 oz. for meals. It also serves fresh seafood with wine and other drinks.
