Hiking a Volcano in BaliRob Hourmont

Real up-to-date daily news from the ground in Bali.

Please let me introduce myself.

My name is Rob Hourmont, and I have lived in Bali since 2017. I'm from London, UK, and have lived in many countries and continents in my time. As a former professional skier and Olympic Athlete, I traveled the globe all year round, from Europe to Australia, Japan, South America, and more. I have extensive travel experience and knowledge of several counties and cultures.

I've been blogging professionally for the last three years, and I love it! I mostly write about health, fitness, food, nutrition, lifestyle, mental health, life lessons, travel, and life lessons. Since I live in Bali, I write a lot about Bali.

Therefore I decided to start writing on Newsbreak to send you everyday information about Bali, what's going on where, weather, travel issues, visa requirements, government updates, and of course, a ton of travel tips in Bali.

There's so much happening in Bali and a lot of confusion at the same time, especially regarding visas and entry requirements. I'll be keeping a close eye on the immigration and government updates to keep you informed, real-time, from the ground in Bali.

I'll be writing about the many beautiful beaches, volcanos, jungles, and waterfalls. The best short day or two-day trips to take, as well as the vast variety of hotels, guest houses, houses, and villas you can choose to stay at.

The best thing? Bali is simply a stunning island, and the cost of living and vacationing is low, far lower than most places. However, the quality and service here are superior! There's something for everyone in Bali, no matter your budget.

Please come to Bali soon. 🙏

I hope you'll follow me and enjoy my writing here on Newsbreak.
