Without a doubt, when it comes to some of the best beaches in the US, Florida is at the top of the list. Not only does it have some of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches, but the state of Florida is also one of the best holiday destinations in America. Whether you are traveling with your kids, your friends or even on your own, you'll definitely find a place suitable for your needs.

In fact, that's what makes Florida such a great holiday destination. The fact that here you can party all night long if you are in your 20s or 30s, but you can also chill and have a super relaxing time if you are traveling with your family. It's all about what you are looking for.

With that in mind, we have put together a list of 4 amazing beaches in Florida that you must check out if you are in the area. Here are our top choices:

1. Clearwater Beach

While it is not the most popular beach in Florida, Clearwater Beach certainly deserves a spot on our list. Located on an island off of Florida's west coast, within about 25 miles of Tampa, this amazing beach is the perfect choice if you are looking for a private place to relax and enjoy the blue skies with your loved ones, or even by yourself if you are a solo traveler.

Here, it will feel like you are miles away from the crowds. It is a very laid-back place with breathtaking coastline and plenty of fun activities to offer. If you are into water sports, you can enjoy paddle boarding, parasailing or you can rent a jet ski if that is more what you are into. No matter what you chose, you will definitely have a great time.

On top of that, you can also enjoy Clearwater's Beach's parks, shopping districts, historical theatres, and, of course, amazing restaurants. You'll also find a marine aquarium where you can take your kids, if you are traveling with your family.

No matter what you are looking for, you will definitely find it here, that's for sure. Have you been to Clearwater Beach? If so, did you like it? What did you think about it? Feel free to share your thoughts with us!

2. Siesta Key

Another favorite among tourists and locals alike is Siesta Key, which is especially popular among couples and families that are traveling with kids. It sits off the coast of Sarasota and it is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the US, not just Florida. And it's easy to see why.

The famous Siesta Beach offers no less that 8 miles of amazing white quartz sand and beautiful turquoise water. So, what else could you ask for? It's definitely everyone's dream!

For those who are looking to have some fun, the place is also doing great in terms of nighttime entertainment. There are also plenty of shops around so if you are looking to buy something or simply go window shopping in order to relax.

For those who are searching for a more quiet place, Crescent Beach would be a better option. Lastly, Turtle Beach it's a great option, too.

What are your thoughts in Siesta Key? Have you been here? Did you like it?

3. Marco Island

The last one on the list is Marco Island, which is easily accessible via two bridges from Naples, Florida. The best thing about the place is that it truly is suitable for anybody. It offers high-end resorts, for those who are looking for a luxurious, relaxing holiday, but also plenty of unspoiled habitats for those who are feeling more adventurous.

As a reference, South Marco Beach is great for those who want to enjoy sunbathing and swimming, since it is located alongside numerous resorts, while Tigertail Beach Park is more suitable for those who enjoy long walks, in search for unique seashells.
