We Shot the "Rare Green Comet" and the "Red Planet" Together

At a Bortle 3 to 4 park, we shot the conjunction of Mars and the famous "green comet" C/2022 e3 ZTF. Under dark skies, the comet was easy to see with a pair of binoculars and a relatively small telescope. Before it leaves our solar system, make sure to take a look. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
