We Photographed the "Once in a Lifetime, Rare, Green Comet"
From our heavily light polluted backyard in the Dallas area, we photographed what the media is commonly calling a once in a lifetime, rare, green comet. Comet ZTF c2022 e3 can be seen in the northern night sky now in late January and early February near the Big and Little Dipper. You will need to use some binoculars or a telescope to see it if you live near a city since it is currently very dim. If you live in an area with minimal light pollution, it is possible to see this faint comet with the naked eye right now. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
