Oklahoma is More Than OK Here in the Fall

From the top of the Wichita Mountains in southwestern Oklahoma the views are breathtaking. When visiting this part of the great state, be sure to head to Mount Scott to take them all in especially in the fall. The leaves change colors to red, orange, and yellow and contrast beautifully with the rocky landscape all around. There are plenty of other things to do all around the Wichita Mountains after you finish your trip to the top. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
