It has even been dubbed the "Switzerland of America" as it is a quaint town surrounded by beautiful mountains. If you are visiting this part of Colorado, try to hike the entire Ouray Perimeter Trail. It is great for families since it has multiple entrance and exit points the entire length where one can decide how much further to go if someone in the party gets too tired.
