Oklahoma's Historic Ferguson House of the Wichita Mountains

This historic house from 1927 is an excellent example of cannonball architecture located in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Preserve of Oklahoma. It is a great little stop while inside the refuge to take a look at a small piece of ranch life from almost 100 years ago. Stop by if you are ever near Fort Sill. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
