You Need to Check Out Some of the Oldest Trees on the Planet (4,000 Years and More!)

Great Basin National Park is home to some of the oldest trees on the planet. By hiking a couple of miles on a well-maintained trail, you can reach them and marvel at these amazing bristlecone pines. Don't forget to stop by the two fantastic alpine lakes nearby. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
