Native South Floridians Love This Uncrowded Dog Beach

As a 3rd generation South Floridian that returns home each year to spend time with family and enjoy the beach, I highly recommend the Dog Beach area of Hollywood Beach. Every time we visit, it is uncrowded and a very peaceful experience even during peak season. On this trip, we found a watermelon left on the beach which was a bit strange but lots of fun. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
