Don't Be Intimidated by this Primitive Trail Hike in Arches National Park
Hiking first to Landscape Arch and then further along a more primitive trail to Double O Arch is a great way to spend part of the day in Arches National Park with your family. This 3.9 mile hike has 650 feet of elevation gain and spectacular views of a good portion of the park. Walking along the fins on your way to Double O Arch is an amazing experience but not for those afraid of heights. You can continue farther along the trail through the Devils Garden area to the interesting formation called Dark Angel from Double O Arch. It's a phenomenal hike! We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
