Best Tour in Mesa Verde National Park | Long House
Our favorite tour in Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado was the Long House tour. As hikers that love to learn, this walk provided the most time listening to the ranger explain the history of the area as well as great lessons on the flora and fauna all around while hiking 2.2 miles. There are two 15 foot ladders on this tour that are fun to climb while enjoying the small 150 of elevation gain on the trail. At this location, you'll see about 150 rooms and 20 kivas created by the people of long ago. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
