Angel's Palace Trail: It's Not Zion, but Pretty Darn Good | Kodachrome Basin

If Angels Landing is too crowded for you in Zion National Park, think about heading over to the way less crowded Kodachrome Basin State Park and trying the Angel's Palace Trail. It's not quite as stunning as the similarly named Zion trail, but it still offers great views of the park from above, goes through some amazing landscapes, and has a thrilling feel at the end! Plus, it's only 1.4 miles long with a little over 220 feet of elevation gain. We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
