An Amazing Sunset Hike in Utah | Sentinel Trail | Kodachrome Basin State Park

If you are looking for an amazing sunset hike in Southern Utah, try this one at Kodachrome Basin State Park. Even though Shakespeare Arch fell down a few years ago, Sentinel Trail is still a must-do hike in Kodachrome Basin especially when the lighting is nice. This trail is in a different part of the park than most of the other trails and is a short drive along a dirt road, but it is absolutely worth checking out this area if you are visiting this state park. Located just 35 minutes away from Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome is a fantastic park with some gorgeous trails like this one. Make sure you give it a try at sunrise or sunset! We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
