Crazy Bubbling Mud in Yellowstone National Park | Artists' Paintpots
Artists' Paintpots in Yellowstone National Park is probably the best place in the park to see bubbling mud along with a large collection of colorful geysers, springs, and vents. Walk along the trail, which is less than one mile long, and see geothermal features in colors from red to blue and everything in between. Don't forget to stop by the nearby Firehole Lake to check out a fascinating little body of water! We are a family of hikers based in Dallas that love to travel frequently in our RV. We are on the road as often as possible and enjoy discovering alpine lakes, slot canyons, natural arches, and other interesting landforms all over the U.S. and sharing our adventures with everyone. When we explore our state of Texas, we always try discovering new local places the whole family will enjoy. If you like hiking, camping, and photography related content, please follow us!
