Cathedral Lake Trail | Challenging Aspen Colorado Hike for Kids

Are you looking for a good hike to challenge your kids with in Colorado? Try the Cathedral Lake Trail near Aspen, Colorado. It is a 5.3 mile out and back hike with over 2,000 feet of elevation gain in the White River National Forest. If you have children, they should definitely be challenged on this one since it's rated as "difficult" on AllTrails. Try to arrive early to avoid the crowds and be bear prepared in this area.
