Ladies if you're reading this article, these points are just for you.

To all the men reading this, if you think these are some qualities you would love in your girlfriend, don't hesitate to share this article with them. After all, you are only sharing something you read on the internet with them, right? They can take a subtle hint from it if they want to. Sometimes, it is hard to communicate your feelings exactly. At such times, random articles on the internet come to our rescue.

Without further ado, here are the 10 rules of being a good girlfriend. These are written from a woman's perspective. If you'd got anything else to add, I'd love to know what your number one rule of being a good girlfriend is.

To be a good girlfriend and make sure your man is happy, here are some things you need to remember and keep in mind:

  1. Understand that online multiplayer games cannot be paused.
  2. It is okay if you sometimes apologize first after an argument.
  3. Never ask: “Does this dress make me look fat?”
  4. Don’t freak out if you find porn on his phone. He would think you’re cool if you said you think you two should try the same things as in that latest video.
  5. When you are mad at him, tell him exactly what the problem is, rather than expecting him to understand by himself.
  6. Be friends with his gang, preferably go out drinking on weekends together.
  7. Don’t go through his phone when he isn’t in the room. If you want to see something specific, ask him.
  8. When he buys a new car, laptop or camera and can’t stop going on about how wonderful the technology is, just smile and agree to whatever he says. Plus points if you conclude by saying, “You’re so smart.”
  9. If you want hugs, kisses or presents, just ask. He is not a mind-reader, you know? Also, it would be great if, sometimes, you got him presents too.
  10. And last, but not the least - do not block girls who like his pictures from his profile. Just, NO.
