  • Swirl the top by swapping half the chips with Reese’s peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips.
  • Allow your first layer of chocolate on top to harden, then, using another type of chocolate (like white) and drizzle over the top. Add sprinkles or edible glitter to the top.
  • Try milk chocolate for a milder chocolate flavor, a bit more sweet than dark chocolate or semi-sweet.

  1. Using a 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan, line it with nonstick foil. Coat your foil with nonstick spray.
  2. Warm your oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  3. Add your saltine crackers (or crackers of choice) in a single layer to your prepared jelly roll pan. Don't worry if you have a bit of space left over; it'll be fine. It should take about 35 saltine crackers.
  4. Next, combine your brown sugar and butter in a medium-sized sauce pan and melt. Stir your butter and sugar frequently over medium heat and bring to a boil for 3 minutes. It's best to use a timer for this. If you want to use a candy thermometer, you are looking for 270°F–290°F degrees.
  5. After 3 minutes (or 270°F–290°F degrees), remove from heat and add your pure vanilla extract and flaky sea salt.
  6. Now you want to pour your brown sugar/butter caramel mixture over the top of the saltines. Spread the mixture evenly over your saltines.
  7. In your preheated oven, add your jelly roll pan and bake for 5 minutes. Prior to removing it from your oven, make sure your caramel is bubbling vigorously. If using a candy thermometer, you are looking for 300°F–310°F degrees.
  8. Once removed from oven, add your chocolate chips over the top of your bubbling caramel. Cover with aluminum foil and allow to sit for 5 minutes; this will melt your chips.
  9. After five minutes, remove your foil and evenly spread your melted chocolate.
  10. While your chocolate is still warm and melted, add your toppings.
  11. Allow your toffee to set at room temperature until completely set up, or place it in the fridge for 2–3 hours.
  12. Once your mixture has completely cooled, remove the foil from the back and with your hands "crack" your toffee into bite-sized pieces, or you could also use a knife to break apart.
  13. Store in the fridge.

Enjoy Friends! ❤️
