Add your favorite flavored extract, like vanilla, almond, peppermint or lemon, to your batter. Taste and start off with a 1/2 teaspoon. You can add up to 2 teaspoons. I have added vanilla and almond, and both are delicious in these Milk Snowball Cookies. You can also add up to a cup of chocolate chips or dried fruit if desired.

Prep Time: 10 minutes; Cook Time: 12 minutes; Total Time: 22 minutes

  • 2 sticks of softened butter
  • 1/2 C. sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 C. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 C. powdered sugar

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Using a stand or hand mixer and a medium-sized bowl, add your butter and beat until light and creamy (it should take around 3 minutes).
  • Then add in your sweetened condensed milk. Beat for two minutes. If you are going to add some flavoring, do it now.
  • Beat for a few minutes, making sure to smooth down the sides as you go.
  • Lastly, add your flour and baking powder. Beat until just mixed. If you are adding chocolate chips or dried fruit, do so now (do not add more than 1 cup).
  • Using a medium-sized scoop, dish out the dough into mounds on your prepared cookie sheets. Leave 2" inches in between each cookie.
  • Place in your preheated oven and bake for 12–14 minutes.
  • Once cooked, take your cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool slightly on the pan, then transfer them to a wire cooling rack.
  • Dust the cookies with powdered sugar.

Enjoy, friends! ❤️
