Steak Bites - What you'll need:
- Sirloin
- Kosher salt & fresh ground pepper - seasoning generously! This is how you get a good crust.
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Minced Garlic
- Fresh Parsley
Pro-Tips:
- Allow your steak to warm up 30 minutes prior to cooking. The theory behind this is super cold steak does not cook evenly.
- To get the best sear…. Make sure your pan is really HOT and you don’t overcrowd the steak.
How to make the BEST garlic butter steak bites
- Cut your sirloin into 1 inch cubes and season well with salt and pepper. Add your olive oil and butter to a hot skillet and cook your bites for about 4 minutes (turning once). Work in batches you don’t want to overcrowd the pan.
- Your steak bites cook quickly - so keep an eye on them - don’t overcook! Once done transfer to a plate to rest.
- After you have cooked the last of your bites, reduce your heat and add your remaining butter and garlic. Let it cook till fragrant, then remove from heat and add in your steak.
- Toss your bites in your delicious butter and garlic sauce.
Substitutions
- Like your steak with a bit of heat? Add some crushed red pepper at the end with your butter and garlic.
- Sirloin or Ribeye will work well for this!
Leftovers and storage
- These will last in the fridge for 3-4 days - keep in an airtight container. Be advised the steak may get a bit tougher the longer they hang around.
- These do not freeze well. The texture is off so eat them up!
