Joshua Tree National Park | Short Hike To Barker Dam And Sunset At Skull Rock

On the next leg of our road trip we will be exploring the beautiful and incredibly underrated Joshua Tree NP. To be honest, we both went into this part of the trip with average expectations and boy were we surprised! The park was not only not crowded but it was so clean and sooo beautiful! The Joshua Trees cover every inch of the park, making for an incredibly unique landscape. Additionally, there are AMAZING rock formations everywhere! They make for beautiful photos and a ton of fun. Turns out, the park is popular with rock climbers! So on this first day in JTNP, join us as we hike to Barker Damn and enjoy a beautiful sunset at Skull Rock. Thanks for watching.

We are born and raised California kids! We enjoy traveling the world, experiencing different cultures and seeing the beauty of this rock we get to call home. When we can't travel internationally, we enjoy exploring our home state and all its beauty. Whether its a 20 minute drive away or a few hours away, our Golden State has so much to offer!
