The United States of America is still facing the high inflation crisis that started in 2021, and it has become even worse than in 2021. In February hit 7.9%, which is the highest in 40 years.

And Russia-Ukraine conflict could be driving it toward even worse. According to American Automobile Association (AAA), In some states of the United States, gas prices are increased to $5.913 per gallon.

Many states are working on the plan of rebate checks to reduce the effect of inflation on the household budget.

New Mexico

Earlier this march, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed a law by which single filers whose earnings are up to $75000 could get $250 and $500 for couples whose income is up to $150,000.


According to local news site, lawmakers in Virginia could pass a one-time rebates check, but the debate is on the amount.


On 23rd March, Gov. Gavin Newsom proposed a relief package of 11 Billion dollars for California residents. This package was proposed because California is witnessing the expensive gas price in the United States.

Residents could get checks in earlier July of $400 per vehicle with a maximum limit of two vehicles.
