Repurposed My Way 

Zazzle.com has some great decoupage papers to choose from. It usually will fit any type of decor. I thought it would be great for this bread box and give it a new life. The box needed some love and a bit of fixing to work correctly, but I got it fixed up. I mixed up a bunch of paint to come up with the butter-yellow color for the bread box. The vintage paper for the front is beautiful and looks so nice with the yellow color. Now we have a happy little bread box that will brighten up any kitchen.

Finding these metal pieces at the dump was so exciting. I knew I had old pallet wood kicking around, and I thought the 2 would go great together. It took a bit to come up with the right configuration, but once I did, it worked out well. Very little supplies were needed for this DIY project and it made a perfect rustic-vintage look to wall decor from trash.

I thrifted this cute teapot from a second-hand store. I wanted to create something different,  that could be out all summer to enjoy. By taking a cloth calender and dipping it in a tea dye, I made it look old and vintage. It was the perfect backing to this teapot. I painted a bird and added some flowers to help the colors pop. Such a cute little arrangement.

I found this cool basket at Goodwill for $4. I wanted to create a beautiful summer-patriotic holiday wall or door decor with it. I used some flowers I purchased from market place and created fun holiday wall decor. I used colors that reminded me of summer and the 4th of July holiday.

This box was picked up at the dump, Yup, I said dump. Sometimes items get set aside because they aren't quite trash, but they are not wanted anymore. I picked up this box to do a cool primitive makeover using mustard paint and some wax to create a new piece of home decor. The inside is the true show-stopper here, though. By adding some decoupage paper, it is a great surprise when the box is opened and can be displayed open or closed.

I thrifted this table from Goodwill and wanted to give it a primitive look. Black, distressed, and primitive decor sells in my booth. It's what I do and why people come to buy from me. I have tried farmhouse decor, and it doesn't sell as well for me. I sanded down the top and stained it. The bottom needed a lot of cleanup and a good spray of black spray paint. This piece turned out fantastic, vintage, and old looking.

I sanded the wood to get it smooth and painted the brown, a black color, and distressed to give it an old, aged look.
