(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) If you’ve already visited the U.S. National White Water Center for River Jam, or watched the Charlotte Knights play baseball on a Friday night, you may be looking for something out of the box to do next. Here are four ideas to take your family or friends to in August.

The Mint Museum is hosting a monthly Party in the Park at its Randolph location! Enjoy live music, food trucks and cocktails on the lawn. Stop, collaborate and listen: the “I love the 90s Bash Bar Crawl” is here!

The “I love the 90s Bash Bar Crawl” is coming to Charlotte! Grab your friends, buy tickets and head to the Roxbury Nightclub on August 21 to meet up with other partygoers. You’ll receive a color changing cup and a slap on bracelet to bring on your journey through uptown. Get ready to “get jiggy with it” with all of your 90s friends. By purchasing a ticket, participants will receive up to 40% off drink specials and up to 20% off food specials at the participating bars!

Let’s keep it clean

Anyone in the room, including servers and guests, can become a part of the show. As the evening progresses, a crime will occur and attendees will follow clues and work with detectives to solve the case. The Top Sleuth will even receive a prize! Appetizers, entrees, desserts and cocktails are provided.
