Cowboys’ Amari Cooper Has Not Lived Up To His Contract, & Should Be Cut
The Dallas Cowboys will have to pay Amari Cooper $20 million if he’s still on the team March 20. Michael Gallup is one of Dak Prescott’s favorite wide receivers, and he’s set to hit free agency. Would the Cowboys be better off cutting Cooper, and save $16 million this season? Cooper is still an outstanding receiver, but it’s not unfair to say that he hasn’t quite lived up to his contract. The Cowboys are in a position that they’re going to start hitting some serious salary cap issues. Cutting Cooper and re-signing Gallup would be the best move.
