Should The Bills Josh Allen Be An MVP Candidate?
If you believe the bookmakers and all the analysts, the NFL MVP race is down to Aaron Rodgers, Jonathan Taylor, Tom Brady, and Cooper Kupp. But shouldn’t Josh Allen be considered a legitimate candidate? A couple of weeks ago Tom Pelissero of NFL.com surveyed coaches and executives around the NFL, and he determined that there were only two players that should be taken seriously for the league MVP, Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, and Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor. When you think of the MVP award, it has to go to the guy who not only is performing the best throughout the entire season, and besides a couple of hiccups Allen has. Criteria that should be taken into consideration is what the player did during the most crucial times of the season. Buffalo was clinging to a playoff spot, they were looking up at the Patriots in the AFC East, and things seemed to be sliding out of control. Now Bills are first in the East, and control their own destiny.
