Vikings Kirk Cousins Tests Positive For COVID Ruled OUT For Packers Game
The Minnesota Vikings awful season is getting even worse. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that their starting quarterback Kirk Cousins tested positive for COVID-19. An NFL player testing positive for COVID is not uncommon this season. Despite the NFL having a foolproof plan to reduce the number of positive cases, they still continue to rise. On Tuesday this week, the NFL had over 100 players added to the Reserve/COVID list. When it comes to Cousins it’s a little bit different. The Vikings quarterback was very outspoken about the vaccine during training camp. Fans and analysts believe that General Manager Rick Spielman and head coach Mike Zimmer are on the chopping block this season. Jim Souhan of the StarTribune see’s the irony of Cousins catching COVID at this point of the season.
