Bears linebacker Khalil Mack will have season-ending foot surgery

Jack Browne of the Score wrote: Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack will have season-ending foot surgery and be placed on injured reserve, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 30-year-old suffered the foot injury in Week 3 but played through the ailment in four more appearances. He'll finish this season with six sacks and 19 total tackles. The Bears lost their two games without Mack, dropping their record to 3-6 and likely ending any hopes of making the playoffs. With Mack done for the year, Chicago will continue to rely heavily on Robert Quinn, who leads the team with 6.5 sacks.
