Despite Darnold’s struggles, the rumors that the Panthers are in on the DeShaun Watson sweepstakes are being reported as false and is seen as a manufactured story by the Texans to drive up the price with the Dolphins. The Panthers have a chance to get back into the win column this weekend when they face the New York Giants who are dealing with a laundry list of injuries.
