Hidden Gems In NYC - Green Kitchen

Rachel On Trend

I’ve posted a couple of articles so far of incredible restaurants that I’ve gotten to try out in NYC so far, and I figured why not write another one! I live on the upper east side, and let me tell you there are SO many restaurants in this area that just look incredible! One of my very first nights here I had the pleasure of trying out Green Kitchen. They have two locations, one on the corner of 84th St and 2nd Ave. and another location on the corner of 77th St and 1st Ave. I visited their location on 84th St and 2nd Ave, and it was such a great experience.

They currently have indoor dining and several outdoor dining patios as options, which are both beautiful. First things first I have to talk about the drinks! They’ve got tons of specialty cocktails that tasted just as good as they looked! I had the Strawberry 75 - and it was the perfect summery twist on the classic cocktail, which we just love so much! I thought all of the drinks on their menu looked absolutely delicious and I seriously can’t wait to go back and try out some more!

Then of course we had food - which were just as delicious as their incredible drinks! We ordered the steak quesadillas and the burger, and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything better in my entire life. It was all cooked to perfection, and I even had leftover quesadillas to bring home for lunch the next day, so I really got to enjoy this meal twice, which is always a treat! Overall my experiences at Green Kitchen were amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone on the Upper East Side who is looking for a delicious lunch or dinner.

I cannot wait to go back here, and try out their other location, because I am sure it will be just as great of an experience. Green Kitchen also has an extensive brunch menu that looks amazing, so I can’t wait to try that out as well one weekend! #hiddengems
