10 Winter Coats You Need In Your Life Right Now

Rachel On Trend

I guess it depends on where you live right now, but you may be in the same boat as me - ALWAYS cold. I feel like this is usually the worst time of year because it’s so cold and the whole month of February I just want it to be spring already. However, since I can’t control the weather, I guess I’ll just have to bundle up and turn the heat up until some warmer weather starts moving in!

I don’t know if it’s because I’m so cold all the time, or because I have a slight online shopping addiction (maybe a combination of both), but recently I’ve been obsessed with looking at coats online. I’m always seeing the cutest coats on instagram as people are in the thick of posting winter fashion content. So I feel like I am just surrounded by some seriously cute coats recently, and why not share the ones you should absolutely buy this season to keep you warm while still looking super chic!

Here’s my picks for the top 10 warm, cozy, and trendy coats you need to add to your wardrobe ASAP!

H&M Lavender Coat With Faux Fur Trim

I decided to start this list on a strong note, so first up we have this absolute beaut of a coat from H&M. I know most people will see this coat and think “oh I could never pull that off.” But honestly I say, if you like it go for it. A statement coat is such a great way to instantly make your outfit look so much cooler. A lavender coat with faux fur trim may seem like a bit much (and I don’t know… maybe it is), but seriously if you are walking down the street in this you will instantly look like a fashionista. And, as is the case with most bold fashion pieces the key to pulling them off is confidence. So if you want to wear something bold - go for it, and do it with confidence! Find this coat HERE!

H&M Faux Leather Trench Coat

Next up we have another gorgeous pick from H&M. I’ve been all about faux leather recently; it’s been a huge trend from last fall that’s transitioned right into the new year. There is just something about faux leather that will instantly make you look 10x chicer - especially a faux leather trench! This coat gives me major matrix vibes and I just love it, it’s so cool! You can take a super casual everyday outfit to the next level with a beautiful coat like this. Find this coat HERE!

H&M Long Plaid Shacket

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4Avhea_0YSkV44x00

And of course we had to pick one last coat from H&M - this gorgeous long wool shacket. Shackets have been all the rage this season, shirt + jacket = shacket (incase you didn’t know, now you know!). Shackets are the perfect comfy and casual coats that are perfect for winter. Their oversized fit makes layering so easy, which will keep you warm and cozy all winter. I have mostly seen shorter length shackets (even some cropped shackets - which I absolutely love!) but I stumbled upon this long version of the shacket and it’s just so cute! I find that longer coats that hit at the knee of lower are actually SO much warmer in the colder weather that waist length coats. In this long wool shacket you won’t only look super trendy but you’ll also be so cozy and warm. Find this coat HERE!

Monki Plaid Puffer Coat

The next coat that you need to add to your winter wardrobe is this stunning plaid puffer from Monki. Puffers are super trendy and cool right now, and they are also super cozy. I feel like most puffers you find are solid colors, which is part of the reason I love this one so much! This puffer coat has the cutest plaid pattern and it’s such a pretty color too. If you are looking for a statement coat that’s not too crazy, look no further. This coat is a perfect bold, trendy, cute, and chic coat - just to name a few words that describe this beauty! Find this coat HERE!

Collusion Teddy Coat

Next up is this Collusion coat that I’m just obsessed with. Two very trendy coat styles right now are the puffer and the teddy coat. This coat is the perfect mix of these two trends and combined they literally make the perfect coat. I think the coziest coats I own are my puffers and my teddy coats, so I just can’t imagine a comforter style than this teddy/puffer combo jacket! I also love to combine textures on my outfits ( one of my favorite ways to look chic and stylish). Since this coat combines two textures it’a instantly going to make you look chic. A super easy and quick way to upgrade any look. Find this coat HERE!

ASOS Vinyl Trench Coat

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0h4sez_0YSkV44x00

The next coat that we just have to talk about is this ASOS vinyl trench. I think this might be my favorite of all the coats on this list because it’s just so good. Talk about a trendy jacket - this coat’s got vinyl, croc skin, and it’s a trench, yes please! This coat will make any outfit look so cool. Whether you are wearing joggers, a hoodie, and chunky sneakers, or a dress and heels - this jacket will just look stunning with any look. Find this coat HERE!

River Island Corduroy Shacket

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4GGQH1_0YSkV44x00

And of course I had to include another shacket on this list because they are just so cute and so on trend right now. This pink corduroy shacket is from River Island and I just love it. This is a much more transitional shacket in terms of length and fit (unlike the long wool shacket from H&M earlier on this list). Once again this shacket is the perfect winter piece for layering and looking super effortless and trendy. I also love the color of this jacket because it’s such a pretty pink that reminds me of spring. And even though it’s still freezing outside, I can still add a little spring to my wardrobe through some fun colors. Find this coat HERE!

SNDYS Bomber Jacket

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2hLAMO_0YSkV44x00

Next we have another super cute puffer coat. This one is from SNDYS, and while it’s technically called a bomber jacket, I would still consider it a puffer coat. What I like about this coat is not only the neutral color ( that will literally match any outfit), but the light feel of the coat too. As I said I would consider this a puffer but it’s not super puffy if that makes sense. It’s a nice and lightweight puffer, so you still look trendy but you won’t necessarily feel like the Michelin man. This coat is perfect for those later winter days where it’s almost spring but there’s still a little bit of a chill in the air. Find this coat HERE!

Vero Moda Puffer Coat

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1OT5LY_0YSkV44x00

Next we have another mixed texture coat from Vero Moda. This puffer coat with a teddy collar is just so pretty! Of all the coats on this list I think this one has to be the warmest and coziest. Between the puffer and teddy materials AND it’s nice and long - wearing this coat is basically a giant comfy sleeping bag and honestly I’m so here for that cozy life. Find this coat HERE!

ASOS Faux Leather Jacket

https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1qpVCM_0YSkV44x00

And last but never least - another ASOS jacket. This one is a faux leather cropped jacket with a puff sleeve. I love a puff sleeve, whether it’s on a top, a dress, a sweater, or a jacket I will never not want a puff sleeve detail. Not to mention puff / dramatic sleeves are super trendy right now. I know that this jacket is a little lighter than some of the other picks on this list, however since the selves are so puffy, you could easily layer a sweater under this jacket and still be nice and toasty. This is the perfect transitional jacket from winter into spring, and with the gorgeous puff sleeves it will be SO on trend this year! Find this coat HERE!
